RED WOOD PINE LUMBERS
Redwood is often used for furniture, door and window frames, doors and
moulding. Due to its open cell structure, it can also easily be impregnated, making it
suitable for various outdoor uses, such as roof constructions, fencing and decking. Redwood
can also be treated to make it fire-retardant.
The majority of sawn redwood is dried in special drying chambers until it
reaches a moisture content of around 18% +/- 2%. Different percentages are available on

SWEDISH PINE SPRUCE
The most common and cultivated coniferous tree in Europe and Russia is the
spruce, from which whitewood is produced. The spruce grows in moist and nutritious soil. The
trunk of the spruce is covered from top to bottom with branches with short needles, growing
directly out of these branches. In some growth areas, the spruce can reach heights of 60
metres and a radius of more than 5 metres.
Spruce is usually harvested at an age of 60-90 years and a height of 25 to
35 metres. The texture of spruce timber is characterised by creamy white heartwood and
sapwood and therefore also called whitewood.

PINE FINGER POINT (OSB)
Finger jointed pine is also made up of interlocking pieces of wood. It is
very similar to box joints, but they tend to fit together parallel to other cuts of pine
wood. In contrast, box joints fit together at a 90-degree angle. When the finger joint point
is interlocked, it resembles fingers clasped together. Hence the name finger jointed.
While box joints are typically used for making furniture, particularly
shelves and drawers, finger joints are usually used for trim and baseboards. It is
relatively cheap, and it is easy to work with because it is made of pine.
